The City of Welland and the Welland Recreational Canal Corporation have embarked on a marvelous journey. The improvement and development of the Welland Recreational Waterway. The continued improvements serve as a foundation, a tipping point for the Waterway and the community in delivering a wonderful place to live, work and play.

We are working every day to increase access and programming for community usage, benefit and activity on the Waterway. The Waterway's Master Plan has been compiled from over thirty years of planning, thinking and visioning. The WRCC in cooperation with the City of Welland are already moving forward for the benefit of the community.
