Located in Merritt Park, this 750 seat, natural amphitheatre was cut into the east bank of the Welland Recreational Waterway to serve as permanent seating for local musical and theatrical events that take place on the water. The stone stepped amphitheatre overlooks a floating stage on the water and the beautiful scenery of the Old Welland Canal. In past years the IlluminAqua festival was held at this location.
