The North Welland Flatwater Community Centre, built by volunteers with the support of local businesses in 2010, was renamed the PenFinancial Flatwater Community Centre.
The PenFinancial Credit Union has donated $50,000 over a five year period (ending in 2017) for Community Program Support for those groups currently operating out of the Flatwater Community Centre. The WRCC, along with affiliate partners South Niagara Canoe Club and Notre Dame Rowing Club gratefully acknowledge this generous support of local grass roots programming to benefit local citizens and youth in the Welland area!
