The Welland Recreational Canal Corporation (WRCC) is an incorporated body under provincial legislation mandated as a not-for-profit corporation. Annually, the WRCC undergoes an independent third party AUDIT REVIEW by a recognized and accredited chartered accounting firm and has done so since the inception of the Corporation. The independent third party accounting firm is selected and appointed by Council of the City of Welland (the Member) on an annual basis.
Each year, the Audited Financial Statements are presented to the Members of the Board of Directors of the Corporation for review and adoption and subsequently presented to Council of the City of Welland, the Corporation’s Member, for review and adoption.
