Volunteering makes a difference to the lives of people in our community and enhances the experience for visitors to Welland. The WRCC is always open for volunteers for many different events. There are volunteering opportunities available for IlluminAqua and for WIFC events.

2013 IlluminAqua Volunteer Positions
Loaders Required: 2 per night This person will be assisting with loading and unloading the band equipment and assisting with set up and tear down of the stage throughout the day. *times are subject to change based on needsDay Performance: 2:30pm-6:30pm (Fri&Sat)Night Performance: 8:30pm-11:30pm (Fri & Sat) *Must be comfortable checking ID'sThis person will be required to sell drink tickets to those of legal drinking age. You will be responsible for handling cash. Night Performance: 6:30pm-11:30pm (Fri & Sat).

| Bartenders 2 for VIP Tent 3 for General |
*Must be 18 years of age or older and have their smartserve certification with them. Must have knowledge of basic mixed drinks. Must be comfortable with checking ID's when unsure of age. Bartenders will be required to greet and serve patrons in a friendly manner as well as serve alcoholic beverages during the festivals. |

| Gate Attendant Required: 4 per night | Gate attendants are required to scan IlluminAqua tickets as the attendees arrive for the night performances. Wristbands are to be attached to the wrists of everyone who is attending. This person must serve the patrons in a friendly manner. | Night Performance: 6:30pm-10:00pm (Fri&Sat) |
| Merchandise Clerk Required: 2 per night |
It is the job of the merchandise clerk to sell the provided merchandise to the concert attendees. This person must be able to serve the patrons in a friendly manner. | Maintenance Required: 4 per night | The maintenance crew is required to assist in hanging up sponsorship banners, fences, posting signage, setting up tents/bars etc. as well as clean up of the site. Each volunteer will also receive an IlluminAqua "Volunteer" t-shirt that is to be worn for all scheduled shifts.
